Richard Stanford (Stan) was appointed as Safety Officer/Stadium Manager at Adams Park in 2002. Stan gained seven years experience as Deputy Safety Officer at Northampton Town before sealing his switch to Buckinghamshire.
With six and a half years experience as a safety officer at Adams Park, Stan is a proven team leader with extensive knowledge of spectator safety and contingency planning. Under Stan's guidance - Adams Park Security stewards were voted the best in Football League Two for three consecutive years.
After continuous recognition for excellence within the local community, Stan prompted the appearance of Adams Park Security outside of the stadium walls. Stewarding has been provided at numerous prestigious events within the community since the conception of Adams Park Security. Stan has successfully managed The Battle of Britain, Armed Forces Day, March of Mohammed, Anzac Day, Marlow Olympian Homecoming and the Eden Shopping Centre grand opening to name but a few.
Stan has been described as ‘one of the best safety officers operating in football today' by a senior FA official.
